A practical checklist for comparing software teams, project scope, communication, ownership, and post-launch support.
Start with the business problem
A credible software company should be able to restate the process you want to improve before it talks about screens or frameworks. Ask what the team understood, what it still needs to learn, and how success will be measured.
Look for a delivery system, not a promise
A useful proposal names milestones, owners, review points, content responsibilities, testing, handover, and the work that is deliberately outside the first release. This makes the project easier to trust and easier to change.
Ask what happens after launch
The first release is the beginning of real usage. Clarify how bugs, analytics, backups, training, maintenance, and the next improvement will be handled.
